AmMetEx (American Metals Exploration Corporation) was founded by Dr. M.C. Newton, a certified professional geologist with over three decades of hands-on experience in mineral exploration and geological research. A seasoned expert with a PhD in Economic Geology and Tectonics from the University of Arizona, Dr. Newton specializes in advanced tectonic analysis—a critical approach used to identify concealed ore deposits and decode complex geological formations. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Newton has dedicated decades to studying the geology of the Great Basin in the western United States—an area renowned for hosting world-class deposits of gold, copper, lithium, and other valuable minerals. His work has guided the development of several Great Basin metals projects, combining tectonic analysis with cutting-edge geophysics, geochemistry, and satellite imaging. 

Dr. Newton’s recent publication, “The Cenozoic Tectonic Evolution of the Great Basin” (available for download), reflects his commitment to advancing geological science and innovation in mineral exploration. This research forms the foundation of AmMetEx’s data-driven approach, positioning the company as a forward-thinking mineral exploration company based in Nevada.
